"Save Are Teacher"
Thank you to Israel Wayne for sharing this article on fb)
Here is an image from a teacher inspired protest in Des Moines Iowa.
Terry Hoffman, a language teacher, organized the kids.
It might behoove Hoffman to spend more time teaching grammar.
Fortunately she is retiring.
In a KCCI video teacher, Terry Hoffman has the kids chanting "Show Us The Money".
In Massachusetts, teachers were telling kids that they would lose their homes if they did not get more money.
Teachers have no business organizing kids to promote their personal agendas (pay raises for themselves). I believe such actions should be grounds for dismissal.

God Knows All About Us
In the Bible in Psalm 139:13-16 it says:
“For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
I will give thanks to You for I am fearfully
and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfullfy wrought in the depth of the
earth;
Your eyes have seen my unformed
substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them.”
Wow! what an amazing thought!
God knew the day we were going to be born before the world was even created!
He knew everything about us before we were born. He knew our name, who our parents were going to be, what kinds of animals we would like, even how many hairs are on our head.
God is so amazing!
Praise God that you are “fearfully and wonderfully made”!
An American Hero's Letter to the President
I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.
One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man."

Wisdom From the Word Wednesday
1 John 2:15-16
the world-“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2 “Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27
if anyone loves the world-“You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.” James 4:4
the lust of the flesh-“But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.” Romans 13:14 “Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest.” Ephesians 2:3 “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.” 1 Peter 2:11
the lust of the eyes-“Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, nor are the eyes of man ever satisfied.” Proverbs 27:20
the boastful pride of life-“But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.” James 4:16
What does the world have to offer that lasts but for a moment? EVERYTHING in this world is temporary. What God has for us is ETERNAL. Why would we want to even risk losing eternity with God for a momentary “pleasure” here on earth. Once we indulge ourselves with earthly pleasures, are we satisfied? NEVER! We are never satisfied. Getting what we want only breeds discontent. We will want more and more and never be satisfied. Let’s put off all the earthly desires and wrap ourselves in God’s love, because that is the only thing that will bring satisfaction. He wants to pour His love into our lives and in return asks us to pour ourselves into others lives.
Political Divorce Agreement
Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950's for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce.... I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course."

Parents Euthenize Their Own Children
The study was published in the March edition of the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine. Dr. Joanne Wolfe, a palliative pain specialist at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital, interviewed 141 parents of children who died of cancer.
"They had found out...in that study 19 of the parents had thought about having their child euthanized, 13 had actually talked about it seriously, five spoke to their physician about it, and in three cases, the parents said that the doctor agreed to give their child a lethal overdose and the child died," reports Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC)."
Unfortunately, this does not come as a surprise to me. When you get comfortable with killing unborn babies, the next obvious step is to kill those outside of the womb who are a burden to society. May God have mercy on their souls. To read this article in its entirety go to One News Now.

Modern Challenge to Motherhood
"The modern challenge to motherhood is the eternal challenge--that of being a godly woman. The very phrase sounds strange in our ears. We never hear it now. We hear about every other kind of women--beautiful women, smart women, sophisticated women, career women, talented women, divorced women, but so seldom do we hear of a godly woman--or of a godly man either, for that matter.
I believe women come nearer fulfilling their God-given function in the home than anywhere else. It is a much nobler thing to be a good wife than to be Miss America. It is a greater achievement to establish a Christian home than it is to produce a second-rate novel filled with filth. It is a far, far better thing in the realm of morals to be old-fashioned than to be ultramodern. The world has enough women who know how to hole their cocktails, who have lost all their illusions and their faith. The world has enough women who know how to be smart. It needs women who are willing to be simple. The world has enough women who know how to be brilliant. it needs some who will be brave. The world has enough women who are popular. It needs more who are pure. We need women, and men, too, who would rather be morally right than socially correct."
What Does It Mean to Be a Man?
"To be a man, you must care about women, and you must care about them in the right way. You must care about them as being worthy of protection, honor, and love. This means genuinely appreciating them for their uniqueness as women. It means recognizing the preciousness of femininity over glamour, of homemaking over careerism, and of mature motherhood over perpetual youth. But when women are reduced to soldiers, sexual objects, and social competitors, it is not merely the women who lose the identity given to them by the Creator, but the men as well. This si why the attack on motherhood has produced a nation of eunuchs---socially and spiritually impotent men who have little capacity to lead, let alone love women as God intended man to love woman--as mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters."

Wisdom From the Word Wednesday
“The one who says, "I have come to know Him," and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected by this we know that we are in Him: the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”
Last week we saw that we know we have come to know God WHEN we keep His Commandments. This week, in verse 4, we discover that we are a liar if we claim to know God and yet DO NOT keep His Commandments.
What are God’s Commandments? We know the 10 Commandments:
Deuteronomy 5:7-21
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing lovingkindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
3. You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
4. Observe the sabbath day to keep it holy, as the LORD your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the LORD your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant or your ox or your donkey or any of your cattle or your sojourner who stays with you, so that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you. You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore the LORD your God commanded you to observe the sabbath day.
5. Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, that your days may be prolonged and that it may go well with you on the land which the LORD your God gives you.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, and you shall not desire your neighbor's house, his field or his male servant or his female servant, his ox or his donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.'
Jesus let’s us know what the greatest commandment is:
Matthew 22:36-40
"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And He said to him, “‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' "This is the great and foremost commandment.”The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets."
Why did God give us His Commandments? Was it to be bossy? Was it to keep us from having fun? Was it to be mean? Did He have a purpose? Yes, He did have a purpose. He knew we would need boundaries, because they provide us with security and we know what it expected of us. God loved us enough to give us our boundaries. We see this in our children. If we don’t provide them with boundaries, if they don’t know what is expected of them, they become fearful and out of control. God gave us boundaries to protect us, protect others and to teach us to respect and honor Him. So, if we truly love God, we will demonstrate that love to Him by keeping His Commandments.

The Fourth Commandment
"Fear will overrun it
Greed will overturn it
Obsession will overwhelm it
Ungodliness will overthrow it
Antinomianism will nullify it
It has to be kept safe from the barbarians in the heart, the culture and even in the church which will trample on it until there is no one left on earth whose schedule is governed by God. What are we talking about? The Fourth Commandment requires that we, “keep” it, meaning that we guard and protect and build a fence around it so that it is not trampled on.
This is hard because there is a public war against the keeping the Sabbath day.
As with all the commandments the devil is always waging war with the fourth commandment. He places many stumbling stones in our way and attempts to disfigure it and eliminate it or keep us from it. This is why we must "observe" or guard the Sabbath day.
The French revolutionaires abolished the Sabbath.
In Egypt the children of Israel had lost their computation of it and Pharoah did not allow the children of Israel to observe it.
The pagan enlightenment' philosopher of the eighteenth century, Voltaire, wrote, "if you wish to destroy the Christian religion you must first destroy the Christian Sabbath."
